HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland Windmill Chorus will celebrate The Beatles with a barbershop harmony twist a Tulip Time tradition which has remained unbroken since the 1960’s.
This year the 90-minute show will feature classics including “Eight Days A Week,” “Eleanor Rigby” and “Yesterday,” like you’ve never heard them before.
Special to this event, Windmill Chorus joins forces with Muskegon-area women’s barbershop group A Capella Bellas, Holland’s eclectic guitar/vocal ensemble Lomax Big House, and a new West Michigan barbershop collaborative Harmony Mercenaries, combining Holland singers with volunteers from five other West Michigan choruses to create awesome vocal power that adds an exciting new dimension to barbershop harmony. It all leads up to the evening’s featured performance by Barbershop Harmony Society’s Pioneer (Michigan) District Quartet Champs Tonal Eclipse.
The show is Saturday May 7 from 7:00 -8:30 p.m. Tulip Time runs May 7-14, 2016. You can now download the free Tulip Time app for your smart phone at no charge and stay connected.
