HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Before you get your motor running and head out on the highway, attend the 15th Annual Lakeshore Blessing of the Bikes.
The community gathering will start the 2016 riding season with a blessing for the riders to have a safe year, promote a sense of fellowship among bikers and to support local charities Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity and Kid’s Food Basket of Holland.
The event will feature live classic rock music from Pretty Rage and muscle cars will be on display by Leadfoot. Food vendors are on-site and merchandise vendors will be selling leather goods, t-shirts, jewelry and other “biker stuff.”
An entry fee of $5.00 per bike will benefit the local charities and bikes that are “classics” and “customs” are encouraged to pay a $10 entry fee to enter their motorcycle for a chance to win the “Bikers Choice” and “Best Vintage Bike.”
The blessing takes place at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds at 1286 Ottawa Beach Road in Holland on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. and the Blessing is at 3:00 p.m.
