POLKTON TWP, MI (WHTC) – An 18-year-old Holland man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after rolling his vehicle several times on the way to work Monday night.
Dustin Mellan was driving on I96 EB headed to Coopersville when his 1997 Grand Prix rolled several times and ended up in the median near 80th Avenue at the 14 mile marker in Polkton Township.
According to Sgt. Matt Wilfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, upon arrival, Mellan told deputies that he had been unconscious and was now awake and alert. He told deputies he is not sure what happened and he does not remember crashing his car.
Mellan was wearing his seatbelt was taken to Spectrum Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
