West Ottawa is at Zeeland East in a game you can follow with Greg Chandler, beginning at 6:40 PM, on 99 7/1450 WHTC, while Eric Van swol will provide coverage of the Saugatuck v. Potter’s House Christian battle from Covenant Christian High at 5:10 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van. Other match ups include Holland at Jenison, Grandville at Zeeland West, and Fennville v. Black River at Covenant Christian.

Adrienne Anderson had 18 points as the visiting Ferris State Bulldogs upset the Grand Valley State Lakers at the Fieldhouse Arena yesterday, 59-51, to win the GLIAC tournament title. The loss was also the last game GVSU would play in Allendale this winter, as the NCAA is sending the 27-2 Lakers to Ashland for a first-round Division II championship tournament game against Wayne State on Friday evening.
In state major-college basketball yesterday, Michigan State beat Maryland, 77-67, and Michigan topped Ohio State, 75-69.
