HOLLAND (WHTC) — The 15th Annual Lakeshore Blessing of the Bikes is Sunday.
It’s part community party, part safety reminder and part fundraiser. Proceeds this year support Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity and Kid’s Food Basket of Holland.
The band Pretty Rage will perform live rock music and car buffs can check out a muscle car display by Leadfoot. Biker gear, from leather goods and t-shirts to jewlry and other accessories will also be sold.
The $5-per-bike entry fee goes to this year’s charities. Owners of classic and custom bikes are encouraged to pay a $10 entry fee to enter the “Bikers Choice” and “Best Vintage Bike” contests.
The blessing takes place at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds, 1286 Ottawa Beach Rd. in Park Township . Gates open at 10 a.m. and the blessing is at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016.
