HOLLAND (WHTC) — North Muskegon resident Dean Borghi, 47, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle rollover crash at about 7 a.m. Sunday, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Austin.
The police investigation shows Borghi was eastbound on I-96 near Polktown Twp.’s 88th Avenue in a 2000 Hyundai Santa Fe when the vehicle left the road and rolled.
Borghi was taken to Mercy Hospital with serious injuries, Austin said. It’s unclear what caused Borghi to lose control of the vehicle, but no alcohol was involved, Austin said.
The crash remains under investigation.
