HOLLAND (WHTC) — The City of Holland will host a public open house from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on May 5 at City Hall devoted to the upcoming Ninth street reconstruction project. No contractor has been named by the city, as bids have not yet been opened.
City transportation officials will explain the project, on Ninth Street between East Eighth Street and west of Washington Blvd. The work, according to an email to the media from the city, will involve:
- watermain upgrades

- Mid May – Mid July; Lincoln to River Avenues.
- Phase 2 – Mid July – Mid August; River to Pine Avenues and College Ave between 8th & 10th Streets.
- Phase 3 – Mid August – Mid October; Pine to west of Washington Blvd. and Lincoln Ave to 8th St transition.
The May 5 meeting will be in Holland City Hall’s first-floor council chambers, 270 River Ave.
