HOLLAND (WHTC) — Holland police are investigatng an unarmed robbery reported near South Washington Avenue and Matt Urban Drive Wednesday just before 10:30 p.m.
The victim is a 19-year-old Hart resident who was walking toward a nearby business when two men approached and demanded cash, according to a statement emailed to media by Holland Dept. of Public Safety.
The victim attempted to ignore the suspects but was assaulted. The suspects took what police called “a small quantity of cash” out of the victim’s pocket and fled south in a silver-colored car on South Washington, according to police.
The victim told police he wasn’t injured and declined medical treatment. He described the suspects as a white male wearing red flannel shirt and shorts and a Hispanic male wearing a grey T-shirt.
The suspect vehicle may be a silver Chevy Cavalier and is missing the front passenger hubcap, police said.
