Tulip Time: Engvall Leaves ‘Em Laughing

HOLLAND (WHTC-AM) – About 18-hundred people turned out Friday night at Central Wesleyan Church to see comedian Bill Engvall as part of the Tulip Time Festivities. Engvall offered his clean, humorous takes on topics ranging from menopause to coaching T-ball to his surprising 2013 finals appearance on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.” For Jen and Bart Sak of Holland, it was a chance of reminisce. As students at the University of Missouri in 1989, the Saks went to see Engvall for their first date. Bart says the Friday show was much different than the first time the couple saw Engvall, noting that the first show was centered around the comedian’s signature phrase “Here’s Your Sign.” Engvall saved his famous line for the end of his 90-minute performance.
