HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Ottawa County continues to grow according to the latest The U.S. Census Bureau results.
Some of the Ottawa County highlights include:
- All of the townships in Ottawa County continued to grow in population between 2014 and 2015, while 4 cities saw a slight decline in population
- Allendale Township experienced the largest population growth rate between 2014 and 2015 (5.8% increase)
- Since 2010, the local units that experienced the largest population growth rates were Jamestown Township (12.5% increase), Allendale Township (10.8% increase), and Crockery Township (9.7% increase)
The County population estimates, which were released in March, showed Ottawa County as the fastest growing in the State and the 8th most populous.
