HOLLAND (WHTC) — The city of Holland’s downtown director has resigned. Dana Kollewehr submitted a formal letter of resignation on Thursday after three years on the job. She was hired in August, 2013 from a similar position in Grand Haven.
City Manager Ryan Cotton told WHTC on Friday Kollewehr’s tenure was the first to combine managing the Downtown Development Authority and Principal Shopping District.
He said before city officials decide to advertise for a replacement, they may restructure the position.
City officials recently hired a public information coordinator and are currently looking to fill the vacant human-resources position.
Kollewehr was named in 2013 to Northwest Ottawa County’s “Top 20 Under 40” business professionals list. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in public administration and public policy from Michigan State University, according to her LinkedIn profile.
