HOLLAND, TWP, MI (WHTC) – A Holland man who was cited for drunken driving hit a pole Monday, May 30, and caused a railroad crossing structure to collapse and his SUV to roll over.
MLive reports that the 25-year-old man was driving a GMC Acadia west on East Lakewood Boulevard Near Douglas Avenue in Holland Township when after failing to negotiate a curve, he drove off the side of the road and hit a CSX crossing pole.
The man was transported to Holland Hospital in stable condition.
