HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 52-year-old Conklin man is in stable condition after being thrown from his motorcycle in Wright Township.
Sgt. Chris Koster of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says Charles Rasch was southbound on 8th Avenue early this morning on his 1976 Honda motorcycle when he slowed down to turn onto Dixon Street when he was rear-ended by Roger Shanks III, 22 , of Sparta.
After the collision Shanks’ vehicle vear off the east side of the road into a ditch and Rasch was thrown off hsi motorcycle.
Rasch who was wearing a helmet sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Shanks was not injured in the crash.
