HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Park Township Manager Jerry Felix will resign at the end of August.
Felix was hired as the first full time Manager for Park Township and began his duties in May of 2009. At that time the township moved from a full time Supervisor to a fulltime professional management administrative structure.
The Park Township Board accepted his resignation at last nights board meeting and pushed to have his last day be June 17 in order to have a clean separation according to a Holland Sentinel report. The Township Board will now have to decide how to fill the vacancy.
Park Township Supervisor Gerald Hunsburger thanked Felix in a press release to WHTC News and said Felix’s efforts have made the township a better place to live, work and play. He also said that Jerry Felix’s leadership, vision and sense of humor will be missed.
