ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – The streets of Zeeland will be filled with bicyclists and spectators in the fourth annual Zeeland Twilight Criterium.
The annual event kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday June 17, 2016. A criterium is, by definition, a one day bicycle race down a circuit road course. New this year is a children’s area with a bike themed obstacle course. The Fat Bike Exhibition is back this year too.
Both the start and finish of the race is held in front of Mainstreet Bicycle Company. Participants will cycle East on Main Street to Centennial; Centennial South to Cherry; Cherry West to Church; Church South to Central; Central West to Elm; Elm North to Main; Main East to Finish.
Online registration is $35 and available through Wednesday, June 15. Day of registration is $55 and racers may register 30 minutes before the race. Registration for the Fat Bike Exhibition Race is held inside Tripleroot at 146 East Main through race day. The race is free to enter but space is limited. Helmets are required.
