HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 10k course will take runners through all three environments along the shore of Lake Michigan all for a good cause.
It’s called RTS which combines Road, Trail and Sand and it benefits Helen Devos Children’s Foundation. Kessie Karg is the race director and she calls it the toughest race you’ll ever love. This race begins on private property in Laketown Township. The course begins on rural roads and then makes it’s way to a wooded trail. From there you’ll transition from dirt to sand and then climb a dune to see the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan.
Karg says this course is not for the faint of heart and we ask that only those who plan to run the majority of the course attend – there is a 3 hour time limit for this event.
It all starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday July 9. $35 race fee plus a $3.00 sign up fee.
