HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Family and friends of Gordon Schrotenboer gathered in the chapel of Christ Memorial Church late this morning for the funeral of the one-time Ottawa County Commissioner and Holland Board of Public Works Comptroller.
He spent 18 years on the county board, representing Holland’s North Side, after 32 years with the utility. Mr. Schrotenboer died last Tuesday at the age of 84, with a private interment at North Holland Cemetery following today’s service.
