PARK TWP., MI (WHTC) – An annual tradition returns with some changes.
The 58th annual Ottawa County Fair kicks off with 4-H competition on Monday morning, but gates open at 3 PM, with the Midway beginning at 5 PM. There will be featured attractions in the Grandstand each of the fair’s six evenings, with a demolition derby on Monday, monster trucks replacing the Wolverine Futurity harness races on Tuesday, truck and tractor pullers on Wednesday, motorcross racing on Thursday, a rodeo on Friday and mud running on Saturday.
The Wolverine Futurity, which had been a staple of the Ottawa County Fair for 37 years, is being held in Fowlerville this Tueday.
