HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – St. Joseph Congressman Fred Upton made national headlines when he told WHTC News that he would not endorse Donald Trump and was staying in his own lane. Has he changed lanes?
Speaking with WHTC morning news, when asked if he would vote for Trump, Upton said, “Well you know I have not answered that question. I’ll confess I didn’t vote for trump in the Primary election but I didn’t endorse any of the 17 that were running. We’ve decided we’re staying in our own lane.”
Upton says he is focusing on their own campaign in the House and Senate and that the focus of the Presidential Campaign doesn’t really start till after Labor Day.
