GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC) – Two Illinois residents are hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in front of a gas station on U.S. 31 south of Grand Haven Saturday.
Ottawa County authorities say 49-year-old Margaret Reagan from the Chicago area was pulling out of the Admiral station along northbound U.S. 31 when she pulled into the path of a car driven by 28-year-old Shawn Kelly of Holland.
Kelly tried to take evasive action but his car struck Reagan’s vehicle on the left side, then rolled over onto its roof in the median.
Reagan and 11-year-old Brandon Mariano, a passenger in her car, are in good condition at North Ottawa Community Hospital. Kelly, his wife and two small children escaped injury.
