HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Second only to Tulip Time in attendance on a single day is Holland’s Art in the Park.
The juried show is Saturday, August 6, at Centennial Park. Over 300 artists and artisans from eight states will have their work on display including Holland’s own Carolyn Stitch. Stitch who owns Carolyn Stitch Studios in Holland has participated in the show for at least 10 years and is always in the same location along 12th Street.
“Since most of my art is Holland themed, that goes over well. We’ve been busy for the last few weeks just producing more matted prints and making sure we have enough merchandise.” Stich says. She also says that not only do tourists come to her booth for something that is distinct to Holland but residents do too. “”Our Holland residents are really proud of our city so they also look for something to hang in their homes.”
The 47th Annual Art in the Park is from 9-4 p.m.
