HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Do you know what to do in the case of an active shooter? Hide? Evacuate? The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department can help you be prepared.
They are holding another ‘Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events” class. The class will provide strategies, guidance, and a plan for surviving an active shooter event.
The class is from 6- 9 p.m. on August 10 at the Ottawa County Fillmore Complex’s Administration Building at 12220 Fillmore in West Olive. The event is free, but registration is required.
Space is limited and participants must be 18 years of age or older and a picture ID is required.
