HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A Spring Lake teenager is listed in good condition following a single vehicle crash in Grand Haven Township.
Ottawa County Sheriff Sgt. Matt Wilfong says deputies were dispatched to Ferris and 150th Avenue around 10:19 p.m. Monday August 9, after a caller reported a single car crash with a male driver with a head injury.
Investigation shows that 17-year-old Cole Schmidt was driving on west on Ferris in a 2002 Chevy Blazer when his vehicle left the roadway on the north side of the road and struck a power pole.
Schmidt complained of a head injury and was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
