HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Thousands of kids in Ottawa County will be able to start school with the supplies they need thanks to your efforts in the Stuff the Bus Campaign.
United Way of Greater Ottawa County Director of Volunteerism Shannon LaHaie says with over 50 locations this year collecting the supplies, just over $22,000.00 in supplies were collected.
“This is absolutely amazing. Thousands of kids will start school feeling confident, excited, ready to learn and their parents will have one less thing to worry about.” LaHaie says.
The backpacks will now be distributed to families who pre-registered with the Salvation Army.
