HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC) – A 22-year-old Muskegon man is dead and the search is on for those who may have murdered him on Holland’s North Side Sunday, September 11.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the parking lot of the Hookah Lounge, off of Butternut Drive between 144th Avenue and Riley Street on a report of shots being fired. When they arrived around 3:15 AM, they found Anthony Lamb mortally wounded, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lamb was a half-brother to Tiana Carruthers, a survivor of the February 20 shooting spree in Kalamazoo that has jailed Jason Dalton. Lamb also has a 9 month old daughter.
No other details of the incident were immediately disclosed, and Sheriff’s Captain John Wolfis said that suspect information was being developed at mid day on Sunday. Anyone with any information on what is being called a homicide investigation is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer.
