HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 32-year-old Holland woman is hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash Wednesday, September 21 in Holland Township
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Vander Ploeg says 47-year-old Brian Servis was driving east on Lakewood Boulevard in a 2008 Ford when he failed to stop for the traffic signal at 120th Avenue. Servis collided with Lucia Lopez-Vargus who was driving a 2005 Hyundai Sonata around 11:30 a.m. Vargus then hit a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Gregory Stafford, of Holland who was driving northbound.
The impact caused Lopez-Vargas’ vehicle to continue off the roadway crashing into a support cable for a utility pole. She was transported to Holland Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
No one else was injured in the crash which remains under investigation.
