DORR, MI (WHTC) – A Canadian national visiting the Lakeshore that had been reported missing has been found.
Jean Pepin hadn’t been seen since leaving his son’s home in Dorr last Friday for his residence in Montreal. The Michigan State Police post in Wayland has issued a missing persons alert when the 76-year-old Pepin did not arrive at his home as expected by yesterday.
This morning, state troopers said that Pepin was located at a suburban Detroit hospital, but in keeping with the low-key aspect of the search, in which a photo of the man and of the vehicle he had been driving was not disseminated to the media, no other details of the circumstances that led to the disappearance or of the nature of the hospitalization was disclosed.
