ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) – Today is National Walk to School Day.
Vanderbilt Charter Academy in Holland is participating Wednesday, October 5, with more than 75 students walking.
The Academy has also partnered with Lakeshore Signs and Safety to provide reflective safety vests for the students. Vanderbuilt Charter Academy is located at 301 W 16th Street in Holland.
Be on the lookout for students on foot today from this school and others in the area.
Thousands of schools across America – from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico – participate every October.
