HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Hope College is hosting a benefit for Purple Community to benefit the Van Andel Institute.
Purple Community is a grassroots fundraising initiative that connects people who want to join the fight against cancer and neurodegenerative diseases to the resources needed for action says Alan Babbitt, Sports Information Director for Hope. “It’s a great organization in West Michigan and the Institute is making progress and doing some much needed research so we can get cures for some of the diseases that afflict our family and friends.”
Hope players will don purple jerseys in the pregame and there will be special purple concessions offers as well as Vandel Institute Purple Community merchandise available for purchase.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for kids and the games will be played at Van Andel Soccer Stadium on the campus of Hope College.Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the Hope ticket office at 616-395-7890 or at the door.
100 % of the Purple Community fundraising will goes towards Van Andel Institute.
