HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump face off in the third and final presidential debate tonight.
Among the topics that may pop up during the debate are Mr. Trump’s remarks about women and the groping allegations that followed them, while Mrs. Clinton will likely be scrutinized for how she handled sensitive emails while she was secretary of state, as well as the information revealed in recently leaked campaign emails. According to Hope College Political Science Professor David Ryden, these candidates, especially Trump, symbolize just how weak the modern political party system is now.
In a recent appearance on “WHTC Morning News,” Dr. Ryden remarked, “People hate parties, and so we’ve spent decades and decades attacking parties and reforming them to the point where they are inept, they are impotent, and they have no means by which to protect themselves from a Donald Trump.”
Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace will moderate the 90-minute showdown at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Coverage from CBS begins at 9 PM on 1450 WHTC.
