The MIAA regular season ends today with Hope College’s teams matching up against those from Kalamazoo College. While the Hornets host the Flying Dutch in the women’s contest, the Flying Dutchmen entertain K-College at DeVos Fieldhouse, with Mike Coleman and Casey Rutledge’s coverage beginning at 2:40 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van.
Grand Valley State’s men and women are at home in Allendale this afternoon as the Lakers welcome the Northwood Timberwolves to the Fieldhouse Arena.
State major-college basketball last night saw Detroit down Northern Kentucky, 60-52, but Oakland fell to visiting Wright State, 78-74. Today, Illinois is at Michigan State, Western Michigan is at Buffalo, and Eastern Michigan entertains Akron; Central Michigan invades Toledo this evening.

Jake Oettinger made 34 saves in 65 minutes of game action and added four more in the shootout, while Jacob Peterson scored the decisive tally in the sixth round of the shootout, as the visiting Dallas Stars stymied the Blackhawks last night, 1-0. Chicago hosts the Florida Panthers at the United Center tomorrow afternoon.
