HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A-22-year-old man has been arrested and is charged with robbing a party store in Holland Township last week.
Rodney Dupree Cole is charged with robbing the Side Door Party Store and was arrested Sunday, Nov. 13. Cole was arraigned Monday, Nov. 14, in the 58th District Court in Holland.
Captain Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says that on Thursday, November 11, Cole implied he had a weapon and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before running away from the scene at the Side Door Party Store located at 673 Douglas Ave in Holland Township.
Bennett said through the course of the investigation, detectives located evidence around the party store that implicated Cole in the crime,
On Sunday afternoon Cole was arrested and is being held on $10,000 bond in the Ottawa County jail.
The incident remains under investigation.
