PARK TWP, MI (WHTC) – A man was robbed in a retail plaza in Park Township on Sunday, November 20.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the robbery at 1130 Ottawa Beach Road at around 3:20 p.m. The victim reported he had been robbed at gunpoint after he had met with the four subjects to pay them money he owed them. When he was seen to be in possession of more cash than he owed, he was robbed of that cash.
The suspects who were last seen driving a Maroon Durango and a patrol unit spotted the vehicle at Lakewood and Division and a felony stop on that vehicle took place Aniline Road south of Lakewood BLVD.
Sgt. Brian Buter says the vehicle was occupied by four subjects and the weapons used were located inside the vehicle.
Three adult males are lodged in the Ottawa County jail and a juvenile was released to his parents. Two of the males were lodged for armed robbery and the third for a probation violation.
At this time the victim and suspects names are not being released and the incident remains under investigation.
