GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) – In an effort to control the population of deer, the city of Grand Haven is planning another deer cull.
City council voted 3-2 this week and residents seem equally split. Officials note there are 30 deer per square mile in Ottawa County, above the 28 recommended.
Those who are backing the cull say deer are damaging their property and eating their plants.
