HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A Grand Haven man was seriously burned when a paint can exploded in his garage.
Fire crews and police were called to a home in the 15-thousand block of Meadowlark Drive just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night, November 22.
WZZM TV 13 reports the that Kevin Sylvester, 39, was painting the rims on his truck and heated up a spray paint can with a propane torch. The can exploded and Sylvester suffered serious burns to his arms, legs, face and head.
Sylvester was first transported to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon and then tranferred to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
