HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Small Business Saturday is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year.
Holland City Manager Ryan Cotten says it’s so important to keep your dollars local. “It goes a whole lot further if you do. Spend your money in the area and it just makes everything stronger. Put it on the calendar and enjoy your downtown.”
The City of Holland says if you shop your favorite downtown businesses and you could be entered to win a $100 gift certificate. All you have to do is take a selfie in Downtown Holland showing that you are supporting Small Business Saturday and upload it to their Facebook event page and a winner will be announced on Monday, November 28.
