UNDATED (WHTC)-Holland Public Schools are looking for propsals from local developers for the Washington School property at 11th St. and Maple Ave. Since the completion of the new administrative wing at HHS this past fall, the Washington School sits vacant.
Residents in the area would like the green space and playground remain available to the neighborhood. City officials have touted the building as a housing possibility.The old school sits in the city’s historic districy, which means their are zoning restrictions on the property. The school board expects to vote on a developement proposal at their scheduled meeting on April 27th.
