UNDATED (WHTC) – The Lakeshore is bracing for another blast of Arctic air over Lake Michigan that will dump between six and 12 inches of snow. A Winter Storm Warning goes into effect at 11 AM for Allegan and Ottawa counties and lasts until 4 PM tomorrow. Wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour could create near-blizzard conditions with zero visibility and blowing and drifting snow. Wind chills around 10 below will lead to a 30-minute window for exposed skin to freeze. All major schools in the Holland/Zeeland area have cancelled classes for today. Moderating temperatures are predicted by Sunday.
