GRAND JUNCTION, MI (WHTC) – A 22-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, both from Eau Claire, escaped serious injuries when a minivan flipped over east of South Haven yesterday afternoon. Van Buren County deputies say that Sylvia Payne lost control on County Road 481 near 4th Avenue and ended up next to a tree upside down. She suffered bumps and bruises and was cited for driving too fast for road conditions; Brad Pullins was unhurt. Deputies add that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
