Open House on Central Ave. Rebuilding in Holland Today

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – One of Holland’s major streets is getting a facelift this spring. Central Avenue, from its northern base off of the BPW water treatment plant on 3^rd Street to State Street, is being rebuilt. Besides road reconstruction, sidewalk ramps will be made ADA-compliant, new water mains, sanitary and water sewers will be put into place, and the snowmelt system will be extended beyond 8^th Street. Interested residents and business owners that will be affected by the expected closure can learn more about the project during a two-hour open house in Council Chambers at City Hall today, beginning at 4 PM.
