LISLE, IL (WHTC) – A public meeting at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s regional offices outside of Chicago this afternoon will go over an alleged safety violation at the Palisades plant near Covert. Investigators claim that staffers followed an inadequate procedure to measure radiation exposure in work on equipment during a refueling outage last February and March. No workers were endangered.
