HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Holland BPW Board yesterday endorsed a 145 million-dollar contract that is one of the final pieces needed to be put into place before a new 125-megawatt, natural gas-fueled power plant is built near the Eastern Gateway. If the City Council gives its final approval to this deal, utility officials say that ground could be broken next month on the facility, with a late 2016 date for it to be online.
