COOPERSVILLE, MI (WHTC) – A two-vehicle crash in Coopersville yesterday morning hospitalized an 82-year-old local woman. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Dennis Luce, the collision occurred as a pickup truck attempted to pull out of a driveway at a 68th Avenue address onto Randall Street. John Zeybel apparently skidded into the roadway and into the vehicle of Kathi Miller. Lorna Sutterfield, a passenger in Miller’s car, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in stable condition; Miller, a 52-year-old Tallmadge Township woman, suffered bumps and bruises, while Zeybel, a 56-year-old Grand Rapids man, was unhurt. The crash remains under investigation.
