Zeeland Fire Chief Hailed For 45 Years of Service

UNDATED (WHTC)-The Zeeland Township Fire Department says goodbye and a big thank you for retiring Fire Chief Gordon Van Haitsma. Van Haitsma, who proudly gave 45 years of service with the local department, finished his duties at the end of December. Deputy Chief Phil Hunderman takes over as interim Fire Chief, until a replacement can be found. Van Haitsma was hailed for his dedication and professionalism throughout his storied career.
