HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – After getting around a foot of snow on Sunday, the Lakeshore is bracing for up to six more inches of fresh powder by Wednesday evening. Forecasters say that a new winter system will arrive this afternoon and stay for about 24 hours. Temperatures are expected to fall on Thursday as a cold front comes in. School districts are expected to resume classes today after a “snow day” on Monday due to poor road conditions. Record snowfall totals in this past storm were noted in Grand Rapids, Detroit and other cities south and east of Holland.
