HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Holland City Council members decided last night, after a public hearing, to make seasonal overnight street parking permanent. A trial four-month-long period from mid-May to September 30th last year was generally well received, and the ordinance amendment up for a final vote creates a May 15th to October 15th window for such parking, with some exceptions involving the Downtown District, larger vehicles, and a limit of 48 hours before a vehicle must be moved. Council voted 8-3 in favor of the measure.
