Boy Safe after falling through Lake Macatawa

 HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) A 13-year-old boy is being treated for hypothermia after he fell through the ice on Lake Macatawa while trying to rescue his dog.  The dog had run off from Kollen Park yesterday afternoon and also fell through the ice.  Paramedics pulled the teen out of the water using a rescue line and a Department of Natural Resources conservation officer crawled out to pull him on to safe ice.  He was sent to the hospital, and his dog was rescued unharmed.
