UNDATED (WHTC) – Two house fires nearly four hours apart at opposite ends of Allegan County overnight resulted in no injuries, but left a total of six persons homeless. The first blaze was off of 13th Street in Otsego around 12:30 AM, where two persons escaped safely, and firefighters believe that it may have started in the basement. The second, off of 142nd Avenue in Dorr around 4:40 AM, saw four persons get out safely. Both dwellings were considered total losses, and causes of the fires are under investigation.
