B’s Head A List of Ottawa Co. Dog Names in 2014

WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC) – Two “Bees” top the “A” list of dog names in Ottawa County last year. The county treasurer’s office, responsible for handling canine licenses, came out with its top-10 list of names among those registered. “Bella” and “Buddy” were the top two based on usage, followed by “Max,” “Sadie,” “Bailey,” “Molly,” “Charlie,” “Maggie,” “Lucy” and “Daisy.” Although dog licensing is required by state law, Treasurer Brad Slagh admitted that less than half of the county’s canines are licensed.
