Federal Charges Now Filed Against Accused Robinson Twp. Gun Store Robber

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Two federal felony counts have been filed against a 21-year-old Muskegon Heights man accused of breaking into Felix’ Marina and Guns in Robinson Township last October 14^th. Xavier McCarty is already in the Ottawa County Jail on 35 thousand dollars bond awaiting trial on state charges. He allegedly stole a total of 10 weapons from the store, which has been the target of thieves over the past nine years. An arraignment at US District Court in Grand Rapids for McCarty is pending.
